Natural maturation: Over time, the shaving soap may undergo a natural maturation process. During storage, slight dehydration can occur as some of the water originally present in the formula evaporates. This may make the soap more compact and cause it to separate slightly from the edges of the jar. In some cases, it may become firmer, resembling a traditional hard soap puck. This is completely normal and does not affect the product's performance. After the first few uses, hydration during lathering helps the soap return to its original consistency, while maintaining the same yield, glide and lather quality.
