Application: Preparing the skin
Start by thoroughly cleansing your face to remove dirt and excess oil. This will prepare your skin optimally for shaving.

Applying shaving foam or gel
Apply a generous amount of shaving foam or gel evenly to your face. Ideally, use a shaving brush to work the foam in well and lift the beard hairs. Make sure the foam is thick and creamy to protect your skin and allow the blade to glide smoothly. Taylor of Old Bond Street products are excellent for this.

Shaving with a safety razor
Take the safety razor in your hand and adjust the blade according to your preferences. Begin shaving carefully in the direction of hair growth to avoid skin irritation and cuts. Apply light pressure and let the blade glide gently over the skin. Work in small sections and repeat the process as needed until you achieve a smooth result.

After shaving
