The Material – Service Tree and Walnut Wood

Service tree and walnut wood are among the finest native timbers. While walnut wood stands out with its rich, dark colour and striking grain, service tree wood is characterised by a warm reddish tone and a subtle, delicate texture. Both types of wood are hard, dimensionally stable, and highly durable – ideal properties for crafting premium grooming accessories. 

In the MÜHLE beard comb, walnut wood is used for the spine, while the teeth are made from service tree wood. Both are polished to an exceptionally smooth finish, ensuring a refined surface.
